Zinc
The Zinc™ RP0008-E30x is a high dynamic range, large well capacity, dual-polarity dual-band, digital pixel readout IC (DPROIC). It has a 30 µm pitch and selectable direct injection (DI) or buffered direct injection (BDI) front-end that is intended for use with the widest range of detector technology. The Zinc RP0008 incorporates dual-polarity sequential dual-band technology to support either polarity of detector or two-color combinations all the way out to VLWIR.
The industry-standard 30 µm pitch and 320 x 256 format enables RP0008 compatibility RP0008 with many existing detectors. The digital pixel capability is uniquely suited to optimizing sensor performance when using high back-ground detector types. Cost-effective detectors such as PbSe can be used without saturating the pixels, making the RP0008 capable of delivering maximum performance from legacy detector technologies.

The Zinc™ RP0008 is optimized for infrared imaging applications such as industrial and manufacturing processes, remote sensing and environmental monitoring, gas leak sensing, medical imaging and thermography, long range point source imaging, fire detection and monitoring.
